And then he offers her the blankets: one's colorless and carefully stitched together from various cloth pieces (it'll probably be hideous when its color is restored), but the other is a nice purple, with a deep tear mended in it.]
These still don't have a lot of weight to them, but they might help keep things warmer for awhile.
[Presumably she means the purple, being that the other one clearly doesn't have any. It shows, too, in the subtle way that she keeps the purple one visible when she takes the both of them, stacking it on top of the patchwork one so it's more easily reached.]
[Sewing club, huh. She nudges the door shut behind them, leading the way down to the front room, where the furniture is a little shabby but at least reasonably arranged in the form of something that resembles a sitting room.]
What exactly does a sewing club do? I mean, besides sewing, obviously. Do you have competitions or something, or...?
[Minato follows willingly; even just having the walls to cut out the wind helps amazingly when it comes to the cold outside.
Still, it's going to be a long winter, he can't help but think.]
It was just me and a friend, honestly... he started the club but couldn't really get anyone interested. So we just worked on the projects he was interested in.
[She's the one who'd suggested doing the quest, mostly out of the idle greed of someone who would never pass up the chance to get something when the opportunity presents itself to get it, but she's also the one left a little awkward about actually, y'know, doing the quest because of it. It's not really normal to just randomly invite someone to cuddle, probably, even if there is a decent excuse for it.
She winds up settling for wandering over to the couch and sitting down with the blankets in tow, giving him a significant look as she motions to the cushions beside her.]
So I guess we just, uh. Do the blanket thing, then, at this point. Whenever's good for you. Assuming you still want to.
[Thankfully, Minato is the anti-awkward--because this is definitely sort of an awkward quest to tackle with an acquaintance. Still, Minato just settles onto the couch next to her, reaching for one of the blankets.]
